Youtube blocked in Turkey after leaked recordings on AKP's plan for Syria

Youtube, one of world’s leading video-sharing networks, has been banned in Turkey by the Telecommunication Directorate (TİB).
"After technical analysis and legal consideration based on the Law Nr. 5651, ADMINISTRATION MEASURE has been taken for this website according to Decision Nr. 490.05.01.2014.-48125 dated 27/03/2014 of Telekomünikasyon İletişim Başkanlığı," the notice on TİB's website reads.
Access to the site has been denied on Thursday after the emergence of Turkish government's plans to invade Syria in a recording that has appeared on Youtube today. In the tape, revealed after Turkey shot down a Syrian plane on the border, are conversations from a meeting of the Turkish Foreign Minister, General Staff and Intelligence chiefs.
At the meeting, attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Foreign Ministry undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu, General Staff deputy president Yaşar Güler and MIT undersecretary Hakan Fidan, the MIT undersecretary says: "If a pretext is necessary for war with Syria, I'll send 4 men there, fire 8 missiles and then there'll be a reason," adding that they have sent nearly 2,000 truckloads of equipment to Syria.
Twitter has also been blocked notoriously on 21 March a few hours after the statement by Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had said he would "root out" the social media network where wiretapped recordings have been leaked, damaging the government's reputation ahead of local elections.
