Photographers Explore The Lives Of Dinka People In Southern Sudan And Their Relation With Nature

Over 30 years of work in Africa, photographers Carol Beckwith and Angela Fisher have traveled roughly 270,000 miles and visited remote corners of 40 countries to explore 150 magnificent African cultures through the camera lense. The photographers documented the daily lives of the Dinka people, a fascinating tribe in southern Sudan.
The tribe’s lifestyle strongly depends on the changes of seasons: during the rainy season they form settled communities and raise grain crops, while during the dry season they herd cattle along the riverside. The Dinka people are distinctive for their close relationship with cattle, with which they live in perfect harmony.
